Winter is finally here. Snow covers to hilltops to the west, and all the forest to the east. Animals are starting to leave or hide away for the season, making everything quiet and eery. And winters get cold here, too. Mornings below 0 are quite common, and even by sunrise it hardly makes it over 30 degrees.

It's about time we came back and fixed this ol' thing up, I think. Life got in the way, but Immy and I have more time now and should be able to crack down. I'm glad dear Pocket's ready to work it out, and we'll be as good as new in no time. Although, things won't pick up unless we get some members, so patience is needed. I'm currently working on a new skin, and once everything's fixed up, it'll look pretty snazzy around here. <3
Merry Christmas to everyone. <33

OUR HISTORY }
Years ago many wolves began to gather together for a meeting, tired of the normal lifestyle they lived. Life was hard in those days. Alphas usually died young as more and more rivals came and went, and not all the pups of a litter lived due to complications or weakness. There were too many scrabbles, too many things that could be fixed. They wanted a new type of life and it was soon decided to have a group of leading wolves that could take care of scrabbles and protect the wolves from harm. Four wolves were initially elected as leaders and they each selected wolves to join the four base packs of their new country. Dünen, Asmeth, Kälte, and Farbe were the new pack's names and they later set out to mark territory for themselves. It was agreed that their country would be named Dachau and that the four leaders would meet every moon at the stone rock they had first decided to start a new life on.
This system worked well for quite some time, and the wolves' lives prospered. Fewer pups died and there were no scrabbles between packs. Tranquility had finally settled over the region. This soon changed once three of the leaders took ill from a virus that was rapidly spreading amongst the packs. Half of Dachau's population was lost, as were three of their four first leaders. The last original leader proposed another vote and soon three new wolves joined their elder.
It was soon found out later that the disease had been brought into Dachau via wolves wishing to join their peaceful country from Sobibor. At this time Sobibor was in the beginning stages of the infamous slavery that was forming there and disease was abundant. To keep outsiders out, yet allow un-diseased outsiders in to regenerate the population's gene pool, the leaders soon decided on a few "laws" for Dachau's residents. They also found it better for the four leaders, at this point, to live together so they could discuss future options for the growing country. Dachau also was in need of a place where wolves from outside countries could join and be sorted into packs that needed more members or a place that would quarantine infected wolves so they could soon join this exploding utopia. This idea was made so when they named Zentriv their capital. The leaders soon appointed Alphas to take care of their pack and left to go live at Zentriv. They called themselves the Order of the Vier, or the order of four. Each leader was signally called a Vier and life began to prosper again.
Later, closer to Dachau's current history, the Order decided that too many wolves had begun to inhabit Dachau. Their once small utopia was becoming huge, and a few fights were breaking out. To solve this problem they created the Zielles. Zielles were guards that had been trained by the leaders; they then gathered and trained young wolves that would soon join Dachau's "army" and control the teetering peace of Dachau. Regular checks were made on the pups and some were killed due to supposed "brain" deformities. This was a stressful time for most families; mothers hid their pups from being taken away and fathers died protecting their pups that were said to have "bad blood". Still, life moved on and soon the "bad blooded" pups were left alone.
In our current day the Order makes most decisions for the country and the individual wolves. One-year-olds are sent off to train in camps; strong ones make it back and the weak perish. Health is monitored and experiments are sometimes held on the weakened wolves. Outsiders are carefully inspected before told which pack they are to join, and wolves are now paired by the Viers to be mates; they do not pick their own. Our country has become a confusing cycle of control and power. And this is only the beginning. . .

On the northern side of Dacahu's capital, Zentriv, there is a large open meadow which cradles a large rock formation in it's deepest part. On top of the rock all the weathering from many years has eroded it away to create a nice discussion plateau. It is here that the Order of the Vier, Dachau's four leaders, discuss country problems, arrange the wolf packs and provide a type of government for Dachau's wolves. Below the large rock is an entry of caves below; this is the four's sleeping quarters. They are not here alone, however; the Elite guards, known as the Kamma to Dachauians, circle this sacred place all hours of the day to protect their leaders. Regular wolves do not come here usually, unless called for by the Vier. Overall, this is a highly regarded place and one of true leadership.
Here, in the middle of Dachau's capital, many wolves bustle back and forth in the large, intimidating square. This is where new wolves to the country gather to be sorted into their new pack and where newborn pups must be registered into Dachau's complex society. This is the main sorting ground; Sortiron is what the wolves call this common place. Some Zielles, wolven officials from the Order of the Vier, keep peace in this large, hoarded place, while others shout out orders to the new wolves of which pack they are being accepted into. Overall, it's a very confusing place and yet very stunning; the sheer size of the population just within this place shows most wolves the country they are proudly apart of.
Camp Attivarri is the male wolf training ground. Located outside the eastern side of Dachau's capital, all newly born male wolves are sent to this place at the age of one year to receive intense training for their country. When they arrive, the wolves are inspected by a Ärazto, meaning a doctor or medical wolf, and are separated based on their physical well-being and their parentage. The healthy ones will be trained for another year here and then be promoted to a higher position as a Zielle or return to their pack; the sickly ones are taken to another place out of the capital.
Camp Kotiväde is the female wolf training ground. Located just outside the west side of the capital, all of Dachau's youngest female wolves are trained to be good fighters for Dachau and completely loyal to the country. There are two presiding Zielles here and they carry out two jobs. Upon entrance the wolves are separated based on physical state and their background. Then they will begin one of two paths; the healthy and fit will be trained as Zielles and be allowed to return to their pack in a year; the other half is sent to another place to begin different training.
Covered in snow most all of the year, the only mountain range in Dachau is a formidable one and her force is great against unknowing loners. The snow is heaviest near the top slopes where some nice sheltered caves can be found; only if your strong enough to make it up that high of course. The air pressure drops dramatically as you go higher and every trail you take begins to look strangely like the next. Most wolves never even attempt a venture here, except for a few rare herbs found at the mountains' middle section. It is rumored a pack lives somewhere in this rugged terrain, but it probably isn't the greatest idea to go looking for them. Although if you happen to take the south pass, you won't meet them; their territory only covers the most northern part, away from the rest of Dachau. Note as well that these are impassable during the fall and winter seasons; unless you contain Kälte blood.
The high range of Carvè is Dachau's most eastern reign of high cliffs and ravines, stunningly beautiful on long summer nights. Among the faded and winded rock are lots of pleasant places for a traveler or two to spend the night comfortably; the winds that have chiseled down the weathered rock have also made some of nature's best sleeping quarters. The eastern portion of the canyon slopes, in some parts, gently down to a lapping beach, while other sides drop off unexpectedly. It doesn't get too unbearably hot here, and during the summer some groups make their way to this open resort annually due to it's pristine and calm weather. Trails have been blazed down through the twists and turns, so make sure you know what path you've been down or you might find yourself lose in a maze with no logical way out.
Covered in the sun's dying rays, Lehrsatz is one of the best rumored places to watch the sun set and rise everyday. The lines of light fall perfectly across this open plateau, which happens to be situated between the Bergea Moutains's most eastern side and Carvè Krazt's most northern side. This place is not very wide, but it has height which allows for the beautiful glimpses of Dachau that can be seen from up here. Overall, it is simply an open flat land, and yet there is something more ominous here than just the breath-taking scenery. Many battles have been won and lost here, apparent enough by the traces of blood still covering this section of raised earth. The blood never disperses however, it still stains the ground as if to leave an open testament of the lives won and lost here.
Unlike some of the other more extreme biomes, Anderung is a place that has all the regularly occurring seasons and yet has somehow not been claimed by a specific pack as home. It is settled close to Farbe, but it's higher altitude gives way to the whole range of seasons, instead of just autumn, as in the Farbe pack lands. Anderung is described by most to be a warm surge of bright, vibrant colors in Dachau while autumn takes a hold on the land. Oranges, reds, browns and golden yellows all coat the trees, shimmery with morning dew. During spring the place is littered with green sprouts, blossoming in the newly arrived sun. Winter isn't as harsh as in some places, but it still takes a large grip on this forest of light tress, making it the ultimate wonderland. Summer is hot but comfortable, living higher up than most areas allows for nice breezes and sometimes large amounts of cloudiness and fog waves. This terrain is very suitable for loners who might have had a bad past or have been banished; here they can live in peace and find some good rest.

`Reigning Packs
Dünen is a vast expanse of rolling sand dunes, a hot, arid portion of Dachau's southern region. The waves of sand stack high towards the sky and only the toughest creatures can live here. Somehow a meager bunch of wolves have scraped out an existence here, sleeping in rocky caverns that border the edge of their territory before it starts into the lush forest of a different pack. The wolves here are said to live in a sort of military state and a few of their training ordeals can be glimpsed now and then when the sand has settled just right after a forceful sandstorm. Other than folklore and some chance encounters, not much is known about them and they live in an almost complete isolation from the rest of Dachau.
A serene place during the spring season, Asmeth is coated in dark, cool colors, making it having a secretive appearance. The temperatures range in the low 30's up to the 60's, but it stays rather cool under a dense forest of thick leaves. The sun is almost never seen, yet when it is, the wolves lay down for some much needed vitamin-c and warmth. Rainfall is high, as is expected for such a damp place and yet somehow these wolves love this terrain like no other. The ones who live here are rumored to be rather friendly; they'll easily share some prey for a lone traveler before sending them on their way. But don't be mistaken; these wolves are territorial and fiercely loyal as any other wolf. They will easily fight to the death, if needed, to save their beloved pack.
The wolves of the Bergea Moutain range are some of the hardiest wolves known on Dachau. They go by the wolves of Kälte, but most call them the snow-dwellers due to their very unnatural territory. Living in the rough life of the Bergea moutains doesn't seem to affect these wolves very well; all of them have been born or raised in the hostile, wintry environment and they enjoy the pros of having an extremely tight-nit group in these rugged parts. The sun is a nice occurrence, although more than likely you'll see clouds covering the bright solar source. It snows almost constantly and in retaliation the pack has a nice thick and bushed coat to keep the cold out. Still, these trails are impassible to the regular traveler, usually during fall and winter. Watch out passing through these parts; the wolves probably won't take kindly to your intrusion.

Farbe is an amazing boreal type forest of extravagant hues ranging from the brightest reds to flashy golds and oranges. Red wood trees are a common sight here, as well as the pack's main diet; elk. They come in masses and the wolves fall upon their prey like, well raving wolves. This particular forest is a thicker, but certainly more on the chiller side compared to other terrains. The forest is very beautiful almost all year round, mainly because it is always in full autumn colors, vibrant and warm. The wolves are a nice group, friendly yet sometimes wary of their more hostile neighbors.
