OUR HISTORY
Years ago many wolves began to gather together for a meeting, tired of the normal lifestyle they lived. Life was hard in those days. Alphas usually died young as more and more rivals came and went, and not all the pups of a litter lived due to complications or weakness. There were too many scrabbles, too many things that could be fixed. They wanted a new type of life and it was soon decided to have a group of leading wolves that could take care of scrabbles and protect the wolves from harm. Four wolves were initially elected as leaders and they each selected wolves to join the four base packs of their new country. Dünen, Asmeth, Kälte, and Farbe were the new pack's names and they later set out to mark territory for themselves. It was agreed that their country would be named Dachau and that the four leaders would meet every moon at the stone rock they had first decided to start a new life on.
This system worked well for quite some time, and the wolves' lives prospered. Fewer pups died and there were no scrabbles between packs. Tranquility had finally settled over the region. This soon changed once three of the leaders took ill from a virus that was rapidly spreading amongst the packs. Half of Dachau's population was lost, as were three of their four first leaders. The last original leader proposed another vote and soon three new wolves joined their elder.
It was soon found out later that the disease had been brought into Dachau via wolves wishing to join their peaceful country from Sobibor. At this time Sobibor was in the beginning stages of the infamous slavery that was forming there and disease was abundant. To keep outsiders out, yet allow un-diseased outsiders in to regenerate the population's gene pool, the leaders soon decided on a few "laws" for Dachau's residents. They also found it better for the four leaders, at this point, to live together so they could discuss future options for the growing country. Dachau also was in need of a place where wolves from outside countries could join and be sorted into packs that needed more members or a place that would quarantine infected wolves so they could soon join this exploding utopia. This idea was made so when they named Zentriv their capital. The leaders soon appointed Alphas to take care of their pack and left to go live at Zentriv. They called themselves the Order of the Vier, or the order of four. Each leader was signally called a Vier and life began to prosper again.
Later, closer to Dachau's current history, the Order decided that too many wolves had begun to inhabit Dachau. Their once small utopia was becoming huge, and a few fights were breaking out. To solve this problem they created the Zielles. Zielles were guards that had been trained by the leaders; they then gathered and trained young wolves that would soon join Dachau's "army" and control the teetering peace of Dachau. Regular checks were made on the pups and some were killed due to supposed "brain" deformities. This was a stressful time for most families; mothers hid their pups from being taken away and fathers died protecting their pups that were said to have "bad blood". Still, life moved on and soon the "bad blooded" pups were left alone.
In our current day the Order makes most decisions for the country and the individual wolves. One-year-olds are sent off to train in camps; strong ones make it back and the weak perish. Health is monitored and experiments are sometimes held on the weakened wolves. Outsiders are carefully inspected before told which pack they are to join, and wolves are now paired by the Viers to be mates; they do not pick their own. Our country has become a confusing cycle of control and power. And this is only the beginning. . .
