Well this looked like a decent place to put my list of suggestions. I in no way mean to annoy the staff ect. but I have a few ideas to put out there which may be spat upon or glorified at your mercy.
1. Make a suggestions board - Even if it will be my own private board it will encourage ideas.
2. Make a new update - Many people see old updates as easy signs of inactivity. I suggest a new update every week, even if it doesn't hold anything new.
3. CLEAN UP THE MEMBERS - I suggest you first send a mass email giving them one week to sign in. Then all the people who do not sign in in the week and are not in the vacation/absent boards are deleted. Again, people see that if you have may registered members but few active members as a turn-off.
4. Brighten the forum subject/message boxes - I won't argue if you don't but personally it is hard for me to see.
5. More games - Helps with activity
6. Extend/redo auditions - They're not all filled so why not?
I could give a bunch more suggestions but I want to see if you'll hate me for these first.

Thank you for your suggestions. We are always happy to hear from our members and any ideas they might have are, of course, welcome. However, I think this might have been better suited as a PM to myself or Kirs or Image. The Mod box is reserved for more pressing issues.
1. "Even if it will be my own private board." I'm afraid we aren't going to create boards for each individual member. =P However, a Suggestions sub-forum is a good idea, and probably one that would, like you said, benefit the site. I'll bring it up at the next staff meeting, but it probably won't be implemented immediately, as we've just started our plot arc.
2. Trust me, we're on this one already. We've been meaning to get to this one for the past several weeks, however, the Admins and myself have been fairly busy this past summer, and because as of now only three people are running this site (and we like it that way,) not everything that we want to get done always gets done on time.
3. We've already done this. I personally made the decision to give the non-active members until September 1st before I remove them from the member list permanently.
4. This, unfortunately, isn't on our list. If we get enough complaints, then yes, of course we'll consider it. For now, though, try brightening the contrast on your monitor. That may help.
5. Again, we are working on this. When all the staff is present again, we'll discuss more reward-based games to implement. Right now, there's simply not enough active members to require a wall of games.
6. All members have already been PMed accordingly and encouraged to apply for auditions. None of the auditions are actually closed at this time, in spite of the 'due by' date.
No one here "hates" you, because we do like suggestions. If you have more, then let me know, and I'll see.

1. A joke. I just tend to use it for the most part.
6. This may sound harsh but its usually best if you assume we (and this includes me) are idiots and assume the auditions are closed.
As for the last comment... I've seen too many mod/admins hate members because they have suggested some idea. You don't seem to, hopefully the other two are the same. If ya want me to shut up and stop posting here let me know. I saw no other suitable place so I put it here.

Oh, I figured it was. That's why you got the '=P' emoticon, I was only kidding back with you. But like I said in my previous post, I do think this is a very good idea.
6. We try to give people the benefit of the doubt that they aren't idiots. Since we like our friendship we harbor with our members. But by all means, Drix, do apply for one of the spots if you're interested, we'd love to have you. I'll go ahead and amend the extension dates if it'll make you feel better, however.
Nah, we're not like that here. We're a pretty close-knit, laid back group and we like ideas tossed at us, for the most part. They are, no worries. No, you might as well continue to post here for now until the board is up. You said you had other suggestions...? Throw 'em at me.

You'll likely toss most of these.
7.Prey levels - One large one for the site/one for each area. Gives members another way to rp a certain situation such as a starving wolf. Requires slight updating. Ask if you'd like detail.
8. TOTM, ect. - Self-explainitory.
9. Featured affiliates - An excuse to convince other sites to do the same.
10. Separate IC and OOC archives - Organizes things.
11. Have an age that all wolves must die at - Brutally hard to keep track of but it helps with realism and population control. Loads of arguement for and against it however. Most find the work not worth the small reward.
12. Have a place for season description ect - Helps with realism, Adds to the site. Ask if you are confused.
13. *GET IN THE TOP 50 WOLF RPs and THE RPG COLLECTION* - Even if you don't place you might randomly get site of the moment.
There's more... They're just forgotten.

7. We might consider this. However, since most of our rpers already take it upon themselves to have their wolves hunt for food, this might not be necessary. I know that the Farbe pack, which thus far has been the most active, does encourage pack hunts from time to time to encourage interaction with all of the members.
8. This might be something to consider in the future, when we have more activity/more members. Right now most threads are confined to the capital and pack forums, and never really get past more than two pages. (Roughly 15-25 posts between members.)
9. This would probably help with drawing in fresh members. This is a keeper.
10. We've done that. They are clearly labeled '2009 IC Archives' and '2009 OOC Archives' under 'Library.'
11. This is a bit iffy. Most of the people who have created their wolves are, naturally, quite attached to them. While I agree it's more realistic for wolves to die, not everyone is going to be on board with this, I don't think. Especially as some of the members have older wolves, such as 4-5 years of age, and most wolves live for only about 10-11. Twenty in captivity, but that's not an option in this rp. I'd rather talk it over with the staff/members first before I say yes or no.
12. We have that. To the left of the site on the sidebar, nearest the news, above the pack information sidebar.
13. I think we did that at one time, but it never hurts to try again.

10, 12. I must have been distracted.
13. Put their affiliate up before they accept you, it tends to help.
And is it just my comp or are the old/new indicators not working?

Most of these are being put up, Drix; I've already though them through and just haven't gotten to them. And this is a Suggestion Board, also. Patience, please.
