GENERAL: *
Faust is, as is typical of his breed, in possession of a solid white undercoat. Due to his current young age, his richly dark spots are spaced quite a ways apart, except for where they cluster like constellations along his muzzle and brow. In fact, one row of spots running in a clear diagonal line across his muzzle and listing a bit to the tip of his nose, is a perfect replica of the string of constellations known as the Big Dipper. His chest spots are so thickly clustered together that they almost run together in some areas, creating the impression that the fur along his chest is black instead of white.[/ul]
His ears are black, with a marbling effect of white veins of patches and spots. His eyes are circled darker pigments of black, with tiny dots just below them resembling teardrops. The pads of his paws are two-toned, a pale mottling of pink and black pigment. The tip of his tail is also black, although not entirely--the black curves away to reveal a small 'checkmark' of white along the edge.

PERSONALITY:[/blockquote]As he is still very young, he is curious about the world around him. He has an almost insatiable urge to explore every nook and cranny he comes across. Unfortunately, this tendency of his also makes him naive. He is very open and trusting of nearly everyone he comes across, and is not easily discouraged from hovering around them obnoxiously. His bubbly personality can be somewhat grating on the nerves to someone who isn't used to it.
His sense of adventure tends to get him into more predicaments than he is often prepared for. But it also makes him fearless, and he embodies the phrase 'leap before you look.' He has a gentle nature, and his heart is in the right place, even if the mistakes of his youth sometimes makes life difficult for himself and others. He is also dreadfully clumsy--a result of not yet having grown into his body.

HISTORY: Faust was born third in a litter of six. Both his mother and father were prized examples of their pedigree, recognized in both the show ring and by simple admirers of the breed itself. His father, he never knew--as he was flown in from several states over for a quick servicing by his mother's owners. His earliest memories, however, are of his mother and the reassuring press of the weight of his five other siblings. His mother was, to his young eyes, beautiful--although she was a liver spot, and none but two of her children carried on that recessive gene.
He remembers his mother as patient and kind, whose soothing voice murmuring whispers and lullabies and rousing tales of his father's handsome stature lulled him to sleep each night. His was a comfortable life--as his mother's owner was quite well off. A well to-do spinster and widow alike, she maintained a lavish lifestyle on her inheritance and the substantial income made by her four-times a week piano lessons offered to the neighborhood children.
In her youth, she often excelled in the showring with his mother, Fable. Both his mother and her owner won man illustrious trophies and ribbons for their team performance. The first several weeks of his life consisted largely of roaming the large halls of that house, eating, sleeping, and playing with his siblings. That all abruptly changed, however, the day he was sold to a family consisting of a young couple fresh out of college.
From that day forward, he was separated from all he knew. While his new family treated him fairly, he was often lonesome, as they had their own hectic, post-college lives to deal with, and hardly any extra time to spare for a puppy more or less bought on a whim. In their moment of negligence, he slipped out the back fence and made a break for freedom...and after a month, eventually ended up in the lands of Dachau.
